Heather Robinson has been marketing businesses and organisations online since 2005. Firstly within the insurance industry where she was responsible for web development, Google AdWords advertising campaigns as well as growing an email subscriber database of over 100k and making sure the company remained on the first page of Google's search results. Since setting up her own digital marketing consultancy and training academy, 'Skittish', in 2012, Heather has worked with an array of local, national and international businesses from small one-man-band outfits and larger organisations like the NHS, to huge multinational companies like General Electric. Heather's books are aimed at the small business owner who wears many hats. She assumes that marketing is not their background and breaks things down into bite-size, digestible chunks leaving out the jargon and just sticking to the need-to-know facts. When she's not writing, Heather speaks at local and national events with recent appearances on stage at SES Conference, London 2014 and Biddlable World.
